With every plane, we’re definitely doing a custom consult. We’re seeing mostly exterior coatings on those because (just like in Marine applications) the ceramic coatings reduce surface tension, reducing the amount of fuel you use and making the plane go faster as well as lowering maintenance costs. The stuff that we’re seeing on the plane aspect of it of coating, we’re seeing that the guys that used to have their plane detailed twice a month have now gone to once every other month because of how easy it is to maintain.  Ceramic Prowls has been proven to help with icing and build-up, which means that the plane last longer and functions better all around.

St. Louis Auto Detail did the aviation training last year here for Ceramic Pro. We had 17 guys come out and we coated a Hawker 900XP private jet, which was fun. We do pretty much anything you can throw at us. We’ve done everything from, the only thing we haven’t done is a train — yet.

As an added bonus, my guys absolutely love doing planes, and they send videos to all their friends. They’re so excited by the product they’re turning out that they’re working harder, so obviously it’s go the side benefit of bringing more work into the shop because they’re doing such a good job.
